Created by NorwegianOiler on 2015-09-29 11:59:31

BUCKMINSTER of the SPARTANS

Where did you finish last season and what are the main reasons you ended up there?
20th. Lack of forward depth and poor goaltending

- How did you do in relation to your biggest rivals?
I was a few spots back of the hated Thunder this year

What have you changed about your team since the end of last season?
Not a lot, the one change that I hope has a big impact is adding Kessel.

What is your goal for the season - what would you consider a successful campaign?
The past 3 seasons I've come in 20th, 22nd, and 20th again. Really, I would just like to get into the teens, hopefully make the playoffs for once.

Create a "12 forward, 6 defenseman, 2 goalie lineup" from your roster.
Kessel-Stastny-Ovi
Drouin-Backlund-Pastrnak
King-Rask-Roussel
Ritchie-De La Rose-Paajarvi

Chara-Streit
Campbell-Ekblad
Jones-Klein

Enroth
Khudobin

Which players do you expect to carry your team?
Ovi, Kessel, and my defense

Do you have any players you expect to surprise people this season?
Last year Pastrnak surprised even me, hopefully another of my numerous prospects can do that this year. Or maybe a few.

Do you have any particular goals in the trade market? Which players on your roster might be available? (and for what price?)
No real goals, I have a very young roster and am hoping they start to put up some points. I guess my biggest need would be goaltending, but the good ones seem impossible to come by. Though of course I seemed to have an easy time trading 2 of them away.

What are your team's biggest strengths and weaknesses?
My biggest strength last year was defense, and I expect them to do well again this year. Goaltending is easily my biggest weakness.

Which teams do you predict as top five in the FHL this season?
Vikings, Militia, Rhino's, Heatwave and Bulldogs

- Do you have a favorite to win it all?
Not really, If it can't be the Spartans, I'll cheer for anyone who hasn't won it (except for the Thunder of course)

Which teams do you predict to be near the bottom come season's end?
Dragons and Thunder

Do you have any messages to relay to the fellowship of the FHL?
Here's to another fun season

What have you changed about your team since the end of last season?
I added Crosby and Giordano. Two elite scoring players at their positions.

What is your goal for the season - what would you consider a successful campaign?
Top 5 in the league. The rebuild has ended.

Create a "12 forward, 6 defenseman, 2 goalie lineup" from your roster.
Bennett - Crosby - Eichel
