FHL Gazette: General Manager Feature: Tdizzy of the Devils

Created by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-24 23:45:56 (updated by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-28 12:15:08)

* What is the reason you chose your particular team name? Previous guy chose it and it worked for me.

* From the original draft, who are still on your roster today?

2. Patrick Kane
11. Mike Smith
13. Patrick Elias
20. Brandon Yip

* Looking back at the inaugural draft - what's the biggest surprise?
(If you did not partake in the inaugural draft - assess, if you like, the original owner of the club's choices)

Judging what my predecessor did, it's a tossup getting Tavares as the last pick in the first round or Hossa at No.9 as the surprise pick. But to get Tavares and Kane 1-2... that's impressive.

* Who is the face(s) of your franchise? Patrick Kane including that curly mullet of his...

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest strength? Well i don't have much but the forward position has gotten slightly better

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest weakness? everything

* What are your immediate goals as GM of your team? What stage of the competitive
process do you see yourself in? (Rebuild, win now, balanced approach, etc.)

Depth was a real issue when I inherited this team... still working on it.

* If you were to dress a lineup of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies from your roster - how would it look?

Alfredsson - Spezza - Kane
Elias - Koivu - Torres
MacKenzie - Stajan - Santorelli
Smyth - Cogliano - Garbutt

Grossmann - Hamonic
Timonen - Weaver
Irwin - Benoit

Smith - Jones (not generic names at all...)

* What NHL team would you compare your roster to? (Think, perhaps, in terms of physicality, positional strengths, results, etc.)
Carolina? Not enough top end guys, good grit in the bottom six... a pretty much no name defense.

* What, if any - and without giving up too many secrets, is your fundamental strategy as an FHL GM? to be a playoff team.

* Which FHL team, if any, do you view as your rival(s)? Why? anyone who is a mid level team as I can't compete with the big boys yet

* Has any FHL trades caught your attention - why is that? That guy that traded Tavares. The return may not have looked good but when you lack depth, you have to do what you have to do to improve your team.

* Which FHL GM do you think does the best job? Why? The Heatwave. Why? They are back to back champions. It's about staying at the top and maintaining it.

* Which teams are the FHL's biggest over- and underachievers in your opinion? The Gladiators are a big surprise to me because he overhauled his team big time... but it paid off cuz he's on top of the mountain.

Underachievers? Can I include myself?

* Who do you think will win the FHL Regular season this year?

I'll go with the Gladiators. He's got a good mix of players there.
- Is that the same team you believe will win the playoffs as well? Why/why not?

And I choose him to take it all... why not?

* What do you enjoy most about the FHL? Most in depth pool I've ever done. Keeps me on my toes and makes me watch more hockey than I normally do.

* How often do you log on, say in terms of average visits per week? 1-2

* If you could change aspects of the FHL, what would you change? No thought comes to mind right now.

* Which aspects of the FHL would you be reluctant or opposed to changing? The lineup system. I don't think more detail needs to be added to lineups.

* Is there anything else you have to note that would be of interest to the fellowship of the FHL? None because all I can think about right now is eating dinner. :D

FHL Gazette: General Manager Feature: Samson of the Thunder

Created by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-23 00:51:55

Time for the man with the coolest name concept in the league - Samson's Thunder.

* What is the reason you chose your particular team name?
While I now know that the name Thunder has more to do with Thor than with the Biblical God, it was the Biblical one I was thinking of. I liked the name and felt it fit well with the story of my namesake.

* From the original draft, who are still on your roster today?
Confer: http://forum.puttingonthefoil.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8
21. THUNDER (samson): Henrik Zetterberg
26. THUNDER (samson): Taylor Hall
67. THUNDER (samson): Tyler Myers
118. THUNDER (samson): Cal Clutterbuck
205. THUNDER (samson): Jeff Petry
343. THUNDER (samson): Valtteri Filppula
398. THUNDER (samson): Jack Skille
403. THUNDER (samson): Mikael Backlund
443. THUNDER (samson): Tomas Kopecky
448. THUNDER (samson): Brian Gionta
I also still have Robin Lehner who was signed before the first season started, and Cory Emmerton who was signed the first week of that season.

* Looking back at the inaugural draft - what's the biggest surprise?
Definitely Yandle.

- What is your biggest regret, and what is your proudest pick from that draft?
Biggest regret I would have to say picking Kipprusoff in the 4th round instead of Tuuka Rask. I was hoping that Rask would still be available for my next pick, and I wanted a guaranteed starter, but that backfired pretty bad. I wish I hadn't taken Myers so early either.
For proudest picks, I actually like most of them, but Backlund was likely one of the best for location.

* Who is the face(s) of your franchise?
While Zetterberg is the Captain of the Thunder, Hall is the face.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest strength?
Probably my upper talent at Forward with guys like Hall, Zetterberg, Filppula, Hertl, Backlund, and others. or maybe my young talent with guys like Hall, Herl, Brodin, Barkov, Trouba, Samuelsson, Dumba, and Lehner.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest weakness?
Goaltending. I really like Lehner, and think he'll be a fantastic goalie, but he's not there yet.

* What are your immediate goals as GM of your team? What stage of the competitive
process do you see yourself in? (Rebuild, win now, balanced approach, etc.)
Rebuild. I'm a huge draft nut, and after the first season I decided that my team would be good, but not good enough to truly compete for the cup, so I blew it up. I was hoping to make the playoffs this year, but it looks like it may take another year.

* If you were to dress a lineup of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies from your roster - how would it look?
Hall, Zetterberg, Hertl
Barkov, Filppula, Backlund (my all Center line)
Clutterbuck, Koivu, Gionta
Emmerton, Horcoff, Kopecky

Bouwmeester, Brodin
Hjalmarsson, Petry
Myers, Trouba

Lehner
Enroth

* What NHL team would you compare your roster to? (Think, perhaps, in terms of physicality, positional strengths, results, etc.)
No idea maybe the Oilers at the begining of the year. Look better on paper, but killed by their Goaltending. results wise may work too as they sucked before, but are slowly improving (we hope)

* What, if any - and without giving up too many secrets - is your fundamental strategy as an FHL GM?
I'm always looking forward at least one year, planning who to drop, draft etc. and how that will affect my overall roster.

* Which FHL team, if any, do you view as your rival(s)? Why?
Spartans for sure. Even from before when they were the Panthers we've been close in the standings every year, and then there's the fact that we're friends in real life.

* Has any FHL trades caught your attention - why is that?
There's been quite a few, like everyone else I was shocked by the Tavares trade, Then all those times I see a guy clear waivers only to be traded for something useful.

* Which FHL GM do you think does the best job? Why?
Probably KTown, hard to argue against the only league Champion.

* Which teams are the FHL's biggest over- and underachievers in your opinion?
I don't really look at others rosters (except when I'm trying to put a trade proposal together), so I can't speak to achievement based on that, but, for underachievers this season I would say KTown (Though he still has time), and the Dragons (if you can't beat the Lugers and Spartans, something must be wrong).

* Who do you think will win the FHL Regular season this year?
Just to tick everyone else off I'll say the Heatwave.
- Is that the same team you believe will win the playoffs as well? Why/why not?
If the Heatwave do somehow pull off the 3peat then yes, as that would mean that they got really hot at the right time.

* What do you enjoy most about the FHL?
As I said I'm a huge draft guy, so I really enjoy drafting my own players and then seeing how they turn out. Good example is Trouba, I was really high on him in the draft that year, and was ecstatic to get him where I did, and enjoyed following his college/World Junior career. Same with Samuelsson, and others, even the ones that don't look like they're going to turn out. I've also found that this pool has helped me be more of a hockey fan, which is important since the Oilers have been so awful.

* How often do you log on, say in terms of average visits per week?
The first thing I do every morning during the season is to check the standings, and I check the news multiple times a day.

* If you could change aspects of the FHL, what would you change?
I would like to get rid of waivers for players with an ELC. I would also like an option to buy a player out (would need a penalty of some sort for sure).

* Which aspects of the FHL would you be reluctant or opposed to changing?
The scoring system for one, I like that PIM's don't count, but hits and blocked shots do.

* Is there anything else you have to note that would be of interest to the fellowship of the FHL?
This pool is fantastic, love the "fellowship" Thanks Guys

Samson

FHL Gazette: General Manager Feature: Jfrizzio of the Militia

Created by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-22 01:14:19

* What is the reason you chose your particular team name?

I don't really have any specific reasons as to why I chose the name. The name just popped in my head while I was thinking about a name for the league . And then I found the logo online, and the logo and colours sat well me.

* From the original draft, who are still on your roster today?

Jonathan Toews
Rick Nash
Erik Karlsson
Jonathan Bernier
Ryan Johansen
Bryan Little
Vladimir Tarasenko
Duncan Siemens
Ray Whitney
Brandon Gormley
Tomas Tatar
Derek Dorsett
Ryan Murphy
Kyle Palmieri

Original Free Agents after inaugural draft:
Sven Baertschi
Jordan Schroeder
Matt Beleskey
Marco Scandella

* Looking back at the inaugural draft - what's the biggest surprise?

Like most people have said, I was also surprised to see Yandle go 4th overall. It's always interesting to go back and see guys like Justin Faulk and Jonas Brodin being missed in the draft and picked up as free agents right after. Kudos to the scouting department of those clubs!

- What is your biggest regret, and what is your proudest pick from that draft?

Overall I was fairly happy with the outcome of the draft. However after seeing all of the goalies go early, I have to admit I highly regretted not solidifying my goaltending early. It killed me in the first season.

I'd have to say my proudest pick would have to nabbing Erik Karlsson in the 5th round. My defence would be nothing without him.

* Who is the face(s) of your franchise?

Without a doubt, the face of the Militia is team captain Jonathan Toews. The first ever pick for the Militia.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest strength?

Our biggest strength at the moment has to be my starting goaltending and the amount of untapped potential we have up front. The Militia acquired Jonas Hiller a couple weeks ago and he has performed swimming along side Jonathan Bernier. Up until that acquisition goaltending has been our weakest link since day one.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest weakness?

Our biggest weakness right now is the serious lack of NHL calibre players on defence. We have more players excelling in the AHL then we do in the NHL on D. It is an immediate cause for concern, but most of these guys in the AHL are just victims of depth. It would be nice of one of them were to get called up soon! ^_^

* What are your immediate goals as GM of your team? What stage of the competitive
process do you see yourself in?

I've struggled with this question for some time this year. I feel like this club has top 10 potential this season and top 5 potential next season if I stand pat. But I realize that as stated above, our depth at defence is brutal and should to fixed. Ultimately, we kind of feel like we should have a balanced approached between being aggressive in the trade market and being patient with our young players.

* If you were to dress a lineup of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies from your roster - how would it look?

Malkin - Toews - Nash
Tarasenko - Johansen - Voracek
Niederreiter - Kesler - Little
Beleskey - Jenner - Tatar

Scandella - Karlsson
Gormley - Letang
Wiercioch - Prout

Hiller
Bernier

* What NHL team would you compare your roster to?

I'd have to say that right now we could almost be compared to the Ottawa Senators. Up front we have a good mix of young up and comers as well as stars in their prime. On the back end, we have a dynamic offensive star but for the most part the rest of the depth is rather average or worse. That might change when(if) Kris Letang is healthy enough to make an impact. In goal we have a really good, but not outstanding goaltending tandom, similar to the Senators.

That's enough power and depth to make the playoffs, but not really enough to become a real threat this year.

* What, if any - and without giving up too many secrets, is your fundamental strategy as an FHL GM?

Ultimately to find balances on all positions. And to find players who can do everything, and not just one thing. Research is key to finding these types of players when and if I have time to do it. I built this team to start succeeding this season and on. Clearly that hasn't worked yet! Sometimes my heart takes over and I am definitely guilty of developing man-crushes, which should stop!

* Which FHL team, if any, do you view as your rival(s)? Why?

Right now, we feel we don't quite have a major rival now. If we had to name one team it would be the Lugers since we have made a few large trades together over the duration of the FHL. It will be fun to see how these trades turn out over time.

Rivalries are made in the playoffs. I trust with the playoffs this year, instant rivals will ensue!

* Has any FHL trades caught your attention - why is that?

The only major surprise was the Tavares trade for me. I understand that everyone has their reasons when they pull the trigger on deal.

* Which FHL GM do you think does the best job? Why?

Quinstone, Gr8one and Ktown come to mind. Ktown has some top notch scouting scooping up free agents like Chaisson, Dekeyser and Stanton. Quinstone and Gr8one are always testing the markets to see what's out there. I've had some good trade talks with both GM's. I almost fell into the Quinstone trap!

* Which teams are the FHL's biggest over- and underachievers in your opinion?

On paper, it may look like Mustangs have been overachievers this season. Especially with the emergence of Bishop and Steen. But they have a lot of good two way players that don't light the lamp every night, however they call contribute in other ways that add up.

As far as underachievers, when I look at the Dragons' roster it's hard to believe they are in last place. They have great veteran stars like Thornton, St.Louis, Richards and Kopitar. They are definitely victims of a lowered cap. And dressing Heatley doesn't help either.

Another underachiever I find are the Chiefs. They have a very nice young roster that looks like they could contend in the near future. Time will tell.

* Who do you think will win the FHL Regular season this year?

It's going to be a tight finish. I think the Gladiators will finish the season on top, but the Vikings are knocking at the door.

- Is that the same team you believe will win the playoffs as well? Why/why not?

It will be a fun playoff year in the FHL. If I had to make a prediction, I think the Vikings will take the championship because of their well balanced roster. However, the Heatwave are about to receive the best boost possible in Stamkos. Can't get a better boost then that so don't take them out of the picture.

* What do you enjoy most about the FHL?

I enjoy the true year to year management feel that you don't get in standard hockey pools. Every time you make a transaction you really have to think about it because once you do it, you're committed. I also really enjoy the GM interaction. Everyone has a different approach to their roster and there are so many GM's to approach. I always enjoy the banter going on the forums even though I lack participation on that department. I don't have much to brag about yet!

* How often do you log on, say in terms of average visits per week?

I usually log in once a day on average to check the standings and news. It could be a bit more if I'm involved in trade talks and/or work is slow.

* If you could change aspects of the FHL, what would you change?

-Like many GM's below have stated, a system where the $1,500,000 waiver rule would go up and down according to the cap every year. I know this is being addressed though! :)
-I do like the idea of somehow setting lines for every week. It's intriguing. But we would all have to see how it would work exactly and approve it.
-I think it would be nice to be able to get rid of your unwanted pending free agents prior to the draft. That way it's more of a yearly cycle where we can free up a couple of spots for draftees without having to always try and carry three or more free spots every year just for the draft. Right now most teams are at 39-40 rosters taken up and will have nowhere to trade something away to make spots for their draft picks.
-Also like Ktown said about looking into ways to we handle our prospects, especially ones who never make the NHL. Maybe a clause where you have the option release a prospect two years(as an example) after you draft a particular player that could be utilized prior to each entry draft to free up a spot. And if you elect not to use that clause, then that prospects contract is yours to keep.
-I was also thinking if it's not a lot of work, a comments section for each news article on this site would be a cool idea.
-An all-time statistics page for the FHL so we could see who has won the most championships ect each year.
-I wouldn't mind seeing a couple more teams in the league, but that would be a lot of work!

* Which aspects of the FHL would you be reluctant or opposed to changing?

The scoring rules and contract commitment rules.

* Is there anything else you have to note that would be of interest to the fellowship of the FHL?

I would just like thank Racki and NorwegianOiler for doing an excellent job at maintaining and keeping the pool organized. And also for keeping an open mind on suggestions and doing whats best for the pool as a whole. Couldn't ask for a better management team!

FHL Gazette: General Manager Feature: MG10 of the Serpents

Created by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-21 01:27:37

* What is the reason you chose your particular team name?

I have always been terrible at declaring my team names in any fantasy sports league. When I learned that I had to give my team a name, I was not looking forward to it. It took weeks of careful consideration to arrive at the Serpents. As a matter of fact, my first choice for a team name was the Frostbites (!). I very nearly took that one, until I worked out that there was no such thing as more than one frost bite. There was only frost bite and the MG10 Frostbite sounded too strange.
From there, I started brainstorming animal names because traditionally, I have always liked animal names for teams. The trouble was thinking of something original. Names like the Lions, Tigers (sorry, Saevel) and Bears and the various bird names had been done too many times. So, I decided on the Serpents because serpents are freakishly cool animals, and in some cases dangerous and deadly.

* From the original draft, who are still on your roster today?

Forwards:

Nicklas Backstrom, Marian Gaborik, Kyle Okposo, Tomas Plekanec, Mikkel Boedker, Michael Frolik, Jay Beagle, Mattias Tedenby, Carl Klingberg and Jakob Silfverberg.

Defencemen:

Duncan Keith, Nick Leddy, Ryan McDonagh, Kyle Quincey, and Carl Gunnarsson, who I actually traded last year but reacquired him last Summer.

And, Goaltender Carey Price.

* Looking back at the inaugural draft - what's the biggest surprise?
- What is your biggest regret, and what is your proudest pick from that draft?

- The biggest surprise has been the development of my young defencemen, namely Nick Leddy and Ryan McDonagh, who were both still prospects at the time I drafted them. I didn't think the two of them would be this good so quickly.

- My biggest regret so far is not drafting a second starting goalie after taking Price.

- The pick I am most proud of is Ryan McDonagh, even though I couldn't dress for the first half of this season due to cap constraints.

* Who is the face of your franchise?

Marian Gaborik

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest strength?

Defence

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest weakness?

Offensive depth.

* What are your immediate goals as GM of your team?

Make the inaugural FHL Playoffs and win one round.

What stage of the competitive process do you see yourself in? (Rebuild, win now, balanced approach, etc.)

Balanced. I have a nice mix of veterans, prime, near-prime, and developing players, but prospect depth that still needs some work.

* If you were to dress a lineup of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies from your roster - how would it look?

Mikkel Boedker - Nicklas Backstrom - Marian Gaborik
Patrik Berglund - Tomas Plekanec - Kyle Okposo
Michael Frolik - David Legwand - Shane Doan
Joe Vitale - Rich Peverley - Jakob Silfverberg

Duncan Keith - Ryan McDonagh
Nick Leddy - Carl Gunnarsson
Kyle Quincey - Kris Russell

Carey Price - Al Montoya

* What NHL team would you compare your roster to? (Think, perhaps, in terms of physicality, positional strengths, results, etc.)

Montreal Canadiens. I have not gotten the results the Canadiens have had in the real league, but in terms of the makeup and the style the Serpents would play would be similar to Montreal.

* What, if any - and without giving up too many secrets - is your fundamental strategy as an FHL GM?

The basic strategy is to get the most out of what I have.

* Which FHL team, if any, do you view as your rival(s)? Why?

We are still a growing bunch and still have a lot of work to do. We are not in the business stirring up rivalries at this stage.

* Has any FHL trades caught your attention - why is that?

None come to mind.

* Which FHL GM do you think does the best job? Why?

Both KTown and NorwegianOiler have done the best jobs. Their teams have been the most consistent over these first three seasons.

* Which teams are the FHL's biggest over- and underachievers in your opinion?

Honestly, I can really only speak for my own team and I definitely think my team has overachieved this year. Quite a few players have played above my expectations this year, especially in the first half of the season, but I knew the early success was not going to last and that has proven true.

* Who do you think will win the FHL Regular season this year?

NorwegianOiler

- Is that the same team you believe will win the playoffs as well? Why/why not?

No. In my opinion, NorwegianOiler is trending up and will just edge out Quinstone and Dawgtoy for #1; however, I think KTown will come out on top in the playoffs. Unfortunately, I think KTown is too far behind to make enough of a push for #1 in the regular season, but his team is about to get a huge boost with Steven Stamkos nearly ready to return. In the playoffs, KTown will be just too much to handle.

* What do you enjoy most about the FHL?

I enjoy the comprehensiveness.

* How often do you log on, say in terms of average visits per week?

I usually log on Saturdays to examine my roster and check messages and once on Sunday to submit the roster for the coming week. I sometimes log on during the week.

* If you could change aspects of the FHL, what would you change?

Not too much at all. I like it the way it is now.

* Which aspects of the FHL would you be reluctant or opposed to changing?

I would listen to any change that is proposed.

* Is there anything else you have to note that would be of interest to the fellowship of the FHL?

Best of luck to all the General Managers going forward and thank you all for making this league the most fun I have ever had as a fantasy league member.

FHL Gazette: General Manager Feature: Choudu of Megasus

Created by NorwegianOiler on 2014-02-20 02:53:21

* What is the reason you chose your particular team name?
- My initial name choice, Grande Testacilies, was kyboshed by the league. Megasus seemed like the next logical choice for me. NorOil's Comment: It was for the better. No scrotal names in the FHL. The "Elbows High" were more than enough - thank God they've moved on.

* From the original draft, who are still on your roster today?
- Although I wasn't part of the original draft, there are still quite a few players still around from the team I inherited:
- JOSH BAILEY
- TYLER ENNIS
- MARTIN ERAT
- MIKAEL GRANLUND
- VILLE LEINO
- BRANDON SAAD
- SHELDON BROOKBANK
- ALEX PETROVIC
- PAUL POSTMA
- GRIFFIN REINHART
- ANDREJ SEKERA
- SHELDON SOURAY
- ANTON STRALMAN
- LUBOMIR VISNOVSKY
- BRIAN ELLIOTT

* Looking back at the inaugural draft - what's the biggest surprise?
(If you did not partake in the inaugural draft - assess, if you like, the original owner of the club's choices)

- The original owner of my team made some suspect choices for sure (including Keith Yandle as a 1st round (top 5) pick - although i'll admit that he did end up with a decent team overall.

* Who are the faces of your franchise?
- DAVID KREJCI, PATRICK SHARP and JOHN TAVARES are the faces of my franchise. BRANDON SAAD and MIKAEL GRANLUND are poised to be added to that list.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest strength?
- Depth at forward and D. When someone has gone down to injury, I've had someone else step up to replace him.

* What do you perceive to be your team's biggest weakness?
- The lack of a true #1 goaltender. Hopefully CAM WARD or BRIAN ELLIOTT will be in a position to fill this gap next year.

* What are your immediate goals as GM of your team? What stage of the competitive process do you see yourself in? (Rebuild, win now, balanced approach, etc.)
- Continue to improve in the standings, season after season. Although i'm not expecting a win right away (although it's only a matter of time folks!) maintaining a balanced approach while continuing make moves to round out positions is my goal.

* If you were to dress a lineup of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies from your roster - how would it look?
FWD:
JOSH BAILEY, DAVID CLARKSON, TYLER ENNIS, MIKAEL GRANLUND, DAVID KREJCI, CLARKE MACARTHUR, BRANDON PIRRI, BENOIT POULIOT, BRANDON SAAD, PATRICK SHARP, JOHN TAVARES, ALEX TANGUAY

DEF:
JAN HEJDA, BARRET JACKMAN, ANDREJ SEKERA, MARC-EDOUARD VLASIC, GRIFFIN REINHART, SHELDON SOURAY

GOAL:
BRIAN ELLIOTT, CAM WARD

* What NHL team would you compare your roster to? (Think, perhaps, in terms of physicality, positional strengths, results, etc.)
- St. Louis - depth up front and on the blue line without a true #1 starter.

* What, if any - and without giving up too many secrets - is your fundamental strategy as an FHL GM?
- Continue to round out my FWDs, Defencemen, and Goalies by trading and drafting well.

* Which FHL team, if any, do you view as your rival(s)? Why?
- Everyone. In any given year, anyone can shine.

* Has any FHL trades caught your attention - why is that?
- I seem to find a reason to shake my fist at a good chunk of the deals made. None-the-less, I love how this league (and the respective GMs) are willing to take risks to improve their teams. If I had to pick one, the CHRIS KUNITZ for MATHIEU PERREAULT + a mid 2nd round pick caught my attention more than most.

The JOHN TAVARES trade has made a few appearances here; but, this deal made sense from a points and salary perspective (big names put aside). The "bag of pucks" returned for TAVARES have all increased in point value and some were recently leveraged to bring in JASON SPEZZA (amongst others).

* Which FHL GM do you think does the best job? Why?
- I love the wheeling and dealings of Metal&Oil and Gr8one - those mofo's trade like there is no tomorrow!

* Which teams are the FHL's biggest over- and underachievers in your opinion?
- I dont' think anyone is overachieving - some owners are having better than expected years due to unexpected player performances but good for them for making that bet. As for underachievers, I think if Racki had a goalie he would be top 5.

* Who do you think will win the FHL Regular season this year?
- Is that the same team you believe will win the playoffs as well? Why/why not?

- I think anyone that's currently in the top 5 has a shot. If I had to place bets:
- Season: Gladiators or NorwegianOiler
- Playoffs: Bulldogs

* What do you enjoy most about the FHL?
- The creativity you must have to build your team and the interactions with the GMs.

* How often do you log on, say in terms of average visits per week?
- More than I care to admit! Multiple times a day.

* If you could change aspects of the FHL, what would you change?
- Goalies get more points for overtime wins, less points for shutouts
- Points for shots on goal
- Modifications to the 1.5M waiver rule

* Which aspects of the FHL would you be reluctant or opposed to changing?
- Not sure how this playoffs is going to work out - interested in seeing the results from our first one this year.

* Is there anything else you have to note that would be of interest to the fellowship of the FHL?
- Very fun league to be a part of and the owners here know there hockey!
